The MoBEF Management Information System is a ministry-wide coordination platform for tracking and managing blue economy projects across Zanzibar. It serves all departments, Technical Working Groups, development partners, and coordination bodies under the Ministry of Blue Economy & Fisheries — from fisheries and aquaculture to marine conservation, maritime trade, and coastal tourism.
This system supports the coordination of blue economy initiatives across all of Zanzibar's districts and conservation areas. It enables the Ministry to track project portfolios, monitor partner activities, and generate reports for informed decision-making at every level of government.
